Club
Type: Harriers, Track & Field, recreational
walking.
Childrens:
We
now have a formal children's
section, and the club has children taking part in most
of the club's harrier, cross-country and road running programmes
during the winter harrier season.
Juniors:
We are initating a new junior running group that will take
part in shorter club runs of up to 30 to 40 minutes at most
(involving features like fartlek or speedplay with plenty
of running knowledge thrown in) on our Saturday afternoon
club runs this harrier season. These runs will mostly be led
by one or two of the club coaches. Any runner who prefers
a shorter run (30-40 mins) is welcome to join in these runs.
Walking:
Our recreational walkers organise many interesting trips during
the harrier season some in conjunction with the harriers and
some on their own.
Coaches:
We have coaches to suit most disciplines
in harriers, cross-country, road, and track and field.
Profile:
Excellent social environment. The club like any other enjoys
the highs and lows associated with the sport. Over the last
ten years we enjoyed nationally ranked athletes contributing
to our profile. Stronger Harriers than T&F. The club organizes
many races/relays for all Otago and beyond details of which
can be seen on this website.. Annual trip to Central Otago
to run the Clyde/Alexandra Road Races and the famous Undy
500 is a hoot!

Club singlets and crop tops are available in various sizes
from the uniform steward.

Navy blue shorts are available at various sports outlets in
