Organised by Leith Harrier and Athletic Club, the Three Peaks Mountain Running Race has been one of Dunedin’s most popular mountain running races for the past 28 years.
Run in the hills that surround Dunedin City (Flagstaff, Swampy and Cargill), the 26km mountain race offers some of the most scenic views of Dunedin City as well as the Silver Peak mountain range.
The event also includes a 10km mountain walk around Bethunes Gully, located at the foot of Dunedin’s iconic Mt Cargill.
