On the track doing 2 to 5 times 1km reps (but individually based to accommodate everyone and their present fitness level: others may do 200s/400s/600s instead of the full 1km but we start together). The session can change as a result of weather conditions or how everyone is feeling on the day.

Civil Service and Ariki have invited Leith Athletics to their Lovelock Relays trials (club mile) event which takes place from Bayfield Guthrie Pavilion - a clockwise mile loop around the Anderson's Bay Inlet taking in gravel and sidewalk (spikes not advisable). All Leith members would have to do is bring a plate for refreshments at the Pavilion (after some optional club runs). Click here for more info.

On Sunday some of our runners meet with other club members and non-affiliated club members at 8am at the George Street entrance to Woodhaugh Gardens (opposite Willowbank Road) for up to a 2 hour run (Marc leads the slower pack with options to run for a shorter time). At 10am we then gather at the Croque-O-Dile In The Garden for a coffee and muffins and a chat. All are welcome on these runs. Contact Marc for these runs

Course 1 starting from corner Neptune/Magnet Streets for a run along the Durban Harbour Cycleway/Walkway, all welcome and it is free. Walkers may do the 5km only, unless they are superfast Olympic walkers then they can do the 10km.
