Leith Harriers organizes club/social runs throughout the year via our training sessions organised by Chris Sole – see our Training link for more on these.  Emails are also sent on Mondays to members reminding them of any updates on these sessions. During our Winter Harrier Season, we also have combined runs with other Athletics Otago affiliated clubs and are social in nature. See our Calendar for updates on these runs.

Sunday Club Runs at 8am

Corner George St and Willowbank St

On Sunday some of our runners join up with the Sunday Morning Runners (runners from various clubs and non-affiliated club members) at 8am at the George Street entrance to Woodhaugh Gardens (corner George St and Willowbank St) for about a 1 to 2 hour run. The Sunday Morning Runners run usually at a faster endurance workout pace.  For those who want a true easy aerobic run and not an endurance workout then join Marc, Dalise and others who run at the conversational pace of the slowest runner with options for running for less than 2 hours. From about 10am onwards we then gather at the Croque-O-Dile In The Garden for a coffee and muffins and a chat which lasts until about 11.30am.  All are welcome on these runs. Regular runners from our club are Christine Montgomery, Danny Baillie, Don Bate and Marc Boullé.  Contact Marc for these runs
