Jolly Jaunt Social Run, this Sunday 12 July from 1pm hosted by Steve and Jocelyn Springthorpe (postponed from the original date of 5 July due to weather)Welcome to a Leith mid winter social Jolly Jaunt in July. It’s a fun, family friendly, untimed (time yourself) jaunt around the 6.5km hill loop (or further) in Broad Bay and hosted by Steve and Jocelyn Springthorpe. If you require more information please use the Leith Contact Form Time: 1.00pm: Gather at Springthorpes, 5 Matariki Street, Broad Bay, to meet and drop off food for an afternoon tea/bbq afterwards.
1.30pm: Head off from 5 Matariki Street, left onto Portobello Rd and left up Camp Street. Through the gate in Camp St to the track over the paddocks on the left following the yellow marker poles. Then down into the Future Forest to Bacon Street and back along Portobello Rd to 5 Matariki.
Extra distance – your choice - if you want to head up Hereweka Harbour Cone or roam around on tracks in the Future Forest.
Mud and spectacular views are guaranteed.

the fresh clean hot tub water. Or swim at the beautiful Broad
Bay beach instead.
